A lot of people have tight hamstrings. Men tend to have more tightness in their hamstrings compared to women. Tight hamstrings can pull on your pelvis which in turn could cause back pain. Below is a couple of variations of a hamstring stretch depending on your flexibility. Try this stretch out to help lengthen your hamstrings. Hold the stretch for at least 30 seconds for the stretch to be effective. The main key is – Go into the move until you feel a stretch but NOT pain. Hold for 30 seconds, breathe into your stretch, and try to relax and lengthen the muscle.
