1. Sprained ankle

  • It is caused by repetitive or intense strain in the Achilles Tendon. This tendon is used for sprinting, running, and jumping on your toes. Sports such as tennis, climbing, and gymnastics often result in Achilles tendonitis.

3. Stress fracture

  • Stress fractures are tiny cracks in a bone.
  • Swelling around the area and tenderness start at the specific area.
  • Caused by repetitive movements and overuse. Commonly occur in track and field athletes and military recruits.
