Dizziness
Dizziness should never limit your ability to live a normal, active life. At Elite Muscle Recovery, we provide effective, hands-on treatment to help patients regain control, stability, and confidence – so they can move freely without discomfort.
What Is Dizziness ?
Dizziness can be debilitating, making even the simplest daily activities feel impossible. Some individuals experience spinning sensations (vertigo), nausea, or black dots in their vision when sitting up or moving. Others may feel like the room is physically spinning, requiring them to remain still for minutes before they can regain balance. Driving often worsens symptoms, as rapid movements and visual stimuli can become overwhelming.
If dizziness is severe, it can disrupt daily life, making it difficult to get out of bed, walk, or function at work. Many individuals experience motion sickness-like symptoms, leaving them feeling as though they are constantly on a rocky boat.
At Elite Muscle Recovery, we specialize in evaluating and treating dizziness. Since dizziness can originate from different sources, a thorough assessment is necessary. Our evaluation includes:
- Eye movement testing – identifies vision-related dizziness triggers.
- Balance and movement testing – determines positional dizziness or vestibular dysfunction.
- Inner ear function assessment – many dizziness issues stem from inner ear imbalances, affecting equilibrium and stability.
Once the cause of dizziness is identified, we create a customized treatment plan to restore balance and reduce symptoms. Treatment may include:
- Vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT) – improves the brain’s ability to compensate for dizziness.
- Targeted eye exercises – help retrain visual processing and coordination.
- Balance and positional exercises – reduce symptoms triggered by movement and help restore confidence.
