Meet The Owner
Jaicy Harless
Dr. Jaicy Harless, DPT
Jaicy Harless was born in Saginaw, MI, and raised in Flint, MI. After getting married, Jaicy and her husband moved to Tennessee to start a new life. They are parents to two wonderful twin girls, who have just turned four, and take up most of their time. Jaicy splits her time between running the clinic and being with her family at home.
Jaicy can often be found in the great outdoors when she’s not treating patients. She loves hiking, boating, skiing, kayaking – pretty much anything active as she hopes to instill a sense of adventure in her daughters from an early age. They enjoy fun challenges like mud runs and obstacle courses.
Back in high school, Jaicy badly sprained her ankle and had to go through intensive physical therapy. The experience with her physical therapist was incredible, and after spending 12 weeks working with him, she was able to see PT through a completely different lens. That experience is what motivated Jaicy to pursue physical therapy as a profession. She realized that her passion was to help people recover from injuries – just like she had been helped – and help them become pain-free.
After PT school, Jaicy became a traveling physical therapist and she remained in that role for 12 years. During this time, she worked all over the US, practicing in various clinics, covering inpatient, outpatient, pediatrics, and home health. This diverse experience allowed her to refine her skills while adapting to different patient needs.
As her career progressed, she observed a shift in treatment models – many clinics began scheduling multiple patients per session rather than providing one-on-one care. In the early years of her career, she was able to focus on individual patients, but later, she found herself overseeing multiple people at the same time. This approach conflicted with her belief in personalized, attentive care. She felt strongly that if she couldn’t provide direct supervision, patients were at risk of performing exercises incorrectly, potentially leading to further injury.
Recognizing the need for dedicated, one-on-one therapy, Jaicy made the decision to open her own clinic. Her practice is built on the principle of individualized care, ensuring that each patient receives focused attention and tailored treatment.
Her mission is simple: to help people become the best version of themselves. She prioritizes her patients’ goals, whether that means playing with their grandchildren or training for a marathon. Whatever their aspirations, she is committed to helping them achieve their personal milestones – safely and effectively.
For Jaicy, the greatest reward is seeing her patients regain their strength, mobility, and confidence. Helping others overcome pain and return to the activities they love is what fuels her passion every day.
